Peter's Video Tips
Videoing windsurfing is a special challenge because of the wind variable and the fact that the action often takes place a way out. My top tips are: 1. Make sure I can see you the sailor for most of the move. So for example, if it's a gybe, try and place the camera upwind. 2. In the wind camera shake can be a problem so use a tripod if possible. 3. Film the action well before the start of a manoeuvre as the problems often have their roots early on. 4. An obvious one, but the picture is a lot clearer of you shoot with your back to the sun.
